Default Reproducibility part of test method validation

If we want to use a test method in two labs, can we validate in one lab and do reproducibility part involving the second lab? Is there any other work to do in order to allow method to be used in both labs? Is this acceptable for any regulatory (eg. USA, Europe)? What are the requirements for reproducibility test? Any disadvantage/advantage doing it this way rather than method transfer after validation?
